I hope someone with a scanner gets that bundle of books. The Typewriter Database could really use that "Ames General Catalog No. 7" for instance, among the rarer bits...

I guess so (RE: Prices) But it does worry me when they can't tell the difference between a Hermes 3000, and a 2000

Wipes brow, sighs in relief. Thank god I'm not a serious collector but still heartening to know there's still some classy ironwork out there if I win the lottery (which I won't - I don't play)
