Look up http://oztypewriter.blogspot.com.au/2011/03/antares-typewriter-names-to-confuse-us.html. Your machine is somewhere between these at http://oztypewriter.blogspot.com.au/2011/03/antares-typewriter-names-to-confuse-us.html and the Annabella/Domus. See also http://oztypewriter.blogspot.com.au/2014/03/efficiency-itself-antares-portable.html. On the factory, you will need to get hold of a copy of the ETCetera magazine in which I covered the takeover by Olivetti of Underwood.Robert Messengerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04366507489948676594noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5248447883714712696.post-76685474529888806592015-11-11T17:07:14.645+11:002015-11-11T17:07:14.645+11:00Hi, I recently bought an Atlas S12 typewriter with...Hi, I recently bought an Atlas S12 typewriter with script typeface. I was trying to find out more about it and Google search led me to your blog post. But my Atlas has a different logo from yours, and it says "Made in Italy" on the body, with its serial number 342787 as a sticker only. It's the same model as this ebay entry: http://www.ebay.it/itm/ATLAS-SCRIPT-FONT-CURSIVE-S12-Vintage-Typewriter-beautiful-scripture/171691179350<br /><br />I checked script typefaces on the internet and my typewriter's is identical to one from an Underwood 18 (post #24 on this thread http://typewriter.boardhost.com/viewtopic.php?id=85&p=3), actually the body looks very similar to this Underwood 18. <br /><br />Would you happen to know if Atlas changed its logo sometime in its history? Is my Atlas from the same company as yours? Any info would be very helpful. Thanks very much.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5248447883714712696.post-15803788005735443472013-05-06T11:28:22.719+10:002013-05-06T11:28:22.719+10:00Congratulations on passing 500,000.
