I'd like to read it and see the layout. That's nifty though.notagainhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02915679111849352765noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5248447883714712696.post-79748332637992549102011-09-06T13:25:00.252+10:002011-09-06T13:25:00.252+10:00As for hipsters, not sure we are all that hip. They bought a Valentine for the wedding guests to write with, but it arrived (Australia Post strikes yet again!) with the carriage knocked off - which must have taken some doing! It's irreparable, apparently.Robert Messengerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04366507489948676594noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5248447883714712696.post-17362645537456362011-09-06T13:20:26.198+10:002011-09-06T13:20:26.198+10:00Thanks, Richard. All along I had been under the impression the feature was for a mag called Frankie, which is very much aimed at a younger (18-20) audience. Unbeknown to me, the same publishing house decided to launch a new mag with this as the first cover story. The theme is very general (Esquire springs to mind, except a larger-paged, bigger format.) It is aimed at an older audience, with features on furniture, distillerys, adventure, music, philosophy, collectors .. and Gideon A. Mantell! Plus the usual fashion stuff etc.Robert Messengerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04366507489948676594noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5248447883714712696.post-87028640549015835742011-09-06T12:25:33.464+10:002011-09-06T12:25:33.464+10:00Wonderful! A couple of dozen hipsters on the planet, anyway... although Australia is more hip that the US, as I know from your report on the I Am Typewriter festival in Melbourne.Richard Phttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16232053429935587826noreply@blogger.com
