I must say that in my opinion it's the "specialist's" responsibility to make this right.<br /><br />The good news is that this is a very common model, when you include the identical Remington noiseless portables in all their minor variations. Finding those particular spare parts would be difficult, but finding a whole machine on eBay? You should be able to pull that button outwards, and release a nut inside to allow it to break down. You may be able to re-assemble it.
