    That's a very clever feature and I love the name "Skippy" for it!

    The name "Skippy" could be a bad one for a typewriter too! But of course, this one is doing just what it's supposed to. The Olympia SG1 also has this feature, and so do a number of other German machines, because it used to be the custom in German printing to emphasize words by s p a c i n g t h e m o u t .
