On This Day in Typewriter History (LXXXVII)

CORONA'S CONVERSION
 
In August 1944, Fortune magazine published in its "The Working Front" section a feature article about  L.C.Smith and Corona Typewriters Incorporated converting its Syracuse factory back to typewriter-making after assisting in the war effort.
Purely in the interests of recording typewriter history, we re-publish the article in full here (albeit in a slightly more sequential page order):
