Thank you Scott, Bill and Florian. I had a few ideas for captions. Like the Dora: "Scott's 'friend' replies". Or the lady throwing crumbled paper on the floor, "Dear Jhon ...". Or the lady at the table with the empty chairs, "Sorry I couldn't make your wedding". The Olympia with the long roll of paper, "OK, full point, new paragraph there". I'm sure Typospherians can think of much better ideas.
People sure like to take pictures of women with typewriters sitting on the floor or lying on their stomachs, and it looks charming, but I can't say it's very ergonomic!
I do not accept anonymous comments. I only allow comments under User IDs provided I know who that person is. Do not ask me to evaluate typewriters. Comments must be relevant to the post. As the author of these posts, I make the decisions about what they contain - it is not open to discussion.
Some great photos here. Where do you find this stuff!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos!
ReplyDeleteNow the first is what I call really getting blown away by your typewriter.
Could number 3 be words of fire? Kind of like firing off a letter of complaint to someone.
What is the typewriter in the last one?
Great post! All these pictures show that typewriters are very popular these days.

ReplyDeleteThese are all great -- inspiring and suggestive.
