What the French Journalist needed as he Manipulated his Typewriter

A little late for the French journalist, I know, but throughout 1937, through the pages of LIFE magazine, Remington promoted its Noiseless standard typewriter. The sustained advertising campaign was pitched at secretaries and stenographers as the people who would influence company purchasing decisions (and get a raise for doing so!):
And again in 1939:

Remington very rarely paid for colour ads.
