Royal Typewriters and the Female Voice

From its very beginning, in 1904, the Royal Typewriter Company grasped the considerable degree to which a woman's opinion of typewriters counted in the marketplace. In his 1954 book The Wonderful Writing Machine, published to mark the 50th Anniversary of Royal, Bruce Bliven Jr wrote,
