Risking 10 Years Jail To Demonstrate Elliott-Fisher Machine

Olivetti surely stole this logo?

  1. I now know that the Elliot-Fisher company was in fact a company all its own before Underwood. Who owned who? Underwood Elliot-Fisher or Elliot-FIsher Underwood?

Never knew they existed in Harrisburg. I take it that the Cedar Street addresses are offices.

  2. Good question, Bill. I suspect it was Underwood which took over Elliott-Fisher.
Elliott-Hatch started in 1896-97 in NYC. It merged with Fisher of Cleveland in 1903. Underwood "merged" with the merged company in 1925. I would say Harrisburg became the home office.
