  1. You are fortunate to not have been stolen from! It was a riveting story nonetheless!

  2. What a horrible experience! Glad to know it was just a scare. And how amazing to find two of that extraordinary machine in your own city!

  3. The horror! You must have felt awful, someone invaded your house. And how relieved you must feel when you finally calmed down and found the Junior after all! These are very scary thoughts...

  4. Actually, I saw this last night and thought immediately of you! I'd like to bid, and I am watching, but I think it will go too high for me.

I did wonder, albeit briefly, if it was you. I looked at the name the moment I saw the location. I thought 'Is Rob selling more than just the Remington'?

  5. What a great story and what a beautiful typewriter! Thanks for sharing. It's the first Junior I've ever laid eyes on. Now, I'm feeling slightly jealous.

  6. I think my craving for a Bennett passed after Mr Polt said they weren't at all pleasant to use. An English keyboard Groma Kolibri on the other hand... still top of my list - in case you see one laying around on ebay.com.au. That cat of yours must have turned into a shaggy dog by now.
