    Interesting! These would have been typewriters (and people) that had survived the bombing of London only a few years before - life goes on!

    Great video. I've never seen those old machines in use before. Nice to see the evolution from slow to fast typing. Only one improvement would have been if an IBM Selectric was in the clip. I wonder what the top speed was from machine to machine.
