I don't know Robert. I know you have many more typewriters than I can ever imagine having, but I doubt there is ever enough even for someone having an empire of typewriters (pun intended). There is always room for one more.
I have observed the increase in the number of views of your blog clocked up over two 20 minute periods (and subtracting my own views during this time). The results were 21 and 22 respectively.
Based on this very rudimentary calculation, I estimate the exact time that your blog ticks over to 1,000,000 views will be 5:11am (Canberra time) tomorrow morning.
I will be interested to hear how far off I am on this.... Unless of course everyone gives you a hand and spends some time hammering the refresh button!
One must always have something to want and to search for. But finding a machine in your storage after feeling sad you couldn't buy it, gives you double pleasure I guess. Maybe in that case, it's good to have so many machines they can still surprise you.
I do not accept anonymous comments. I only allow comments under User IDs provided I know who that person is. Do not ask me to evaluate typewriters. Comments must be relevant to the post. As the author of these posts, I make the decisions about what they contain - it is not open to discussion.

No, no!! Ah, my terrible maths. I need to revise that prediction to 3:39am Canberra time tomorrow morning (21.3.14)
ReplyDeleteThank you Bill and Steve.
ReplyDeleteSteve: I was happy enough to get up at 5am to see this happen, but now you tell me 3.30am! Oh dear!!!
Actually, Steve, I now think it might be before midnight my time!
ReplyDelete"Display prop"? What nonsense. Don't they want to sell their objects??
