RIP Doris Day (1922-2019)

Doris Day was my childhood sweetheart. She was born in Cincinnati. Naturally, therefore, there are two photographs of her at a typewriter, albeit an IBM Selectric I.

    She went on to have a great career as a singer and actress.

    How did I not know that she was from Cincinnati??

    However, I have been to her hotel in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California, the Cypress Inn, a lovely place that welcomes both people and dogs.
