Further to our marking the Imperial Typewriter Company's 112th birthday yesterday, here are some images of Imperials in use during World War Two, from the Imperial War Museums collections. From yesterday's post, it will have been noted that during the war Imperial supplied more than 175,000 typewriters to the British and Allied governments. Many of those can be seen in use here:
