Such a loss. You know, Robert, I was motivated to pick up a copy of his book, The Story of My Typewriter, after perusing your blog. It was here where I learned more about the man just hours prior to learning of his passing. I was reading your insightful posts on the subject of the SM9 where Auster was often mentioned. I want to believe he would have appreciated that coincidence.
Thank you for your blog, I am finding most of the posts very interesting. A special thank you for introducing me to Paul Auster. I have become a fan, always looking for new authors.
I do not accept anonymous comments. I only allow comments under User IDs provided I know who that person is. Do not ask me to evaluate typewriters. Comments must be relevant to the post. As the author of these posts, I make the decisions about what they contain - it is not open to discussion.
A writer's writer. (And a writer's 'writer.) RIP.
