Question - who is your California ribbon source? And is it possible to obtain "semi-inked" ribbons? Several times I've replaced a fading ribbon on a machine that produced faint, but very crisp characters, only to find that the new ribbon splatted squishy, fat globs that didn't do justice to the typeslugs.
I have the same typewriter in it's carrying case, but with a black front, not green or blue, together with 4 ribbons and the original instructions on 'How to use'. Lovely condition. Is this typewriter worth money and, if so, how much would you say? Many thanks for your help.
