RIP Muhammad Ali (1942-2016).
Definitely the GOAT (Greatest Of All Time).
I
was delighted to be able to meet him at the New Victoria Theatre in London on
November 29, 1974, a month after he had beaten George Foreman in Kinshasa in the greatest title fight ever.

I met him at his training camp in Deer Lake, PA a few times. He was always a very friendly and down to earth host. He never let on about his championship and famous status. On television things were a bit different. He helped many young fellows get opportunities they may never had gotten otherwise. Greatness comes in many ways. His was in ways the public seldom got to know.
