Dancing to the Beat of a Wedding Typewriter

The Typewriter Gods most definitely smiled on us on our wedding day. The entire event was bathed in brilliant sunshine, and everything went off without a single hitch - including the performance of the Wedding Typewriter. Four months of thorough planning - with a lot of help from our friends - ensured it was an unforgettably joyous occasion. Every one of the 100 or so guests commented on what an incredibly wonderful day it was - filled with love, song, dance and fun. The (other) old folks wished us well, and the young folks said, "When we get married, this is the sort of wedding we want!" 
My area of special interest is, of course, typewriters, but Harriet made a much greater and more lasting contribution to the event, through her expertise in handmade glass jewellery. Each guest got to pick a bauble in a tree and take home a memento of the day:
We asked that none of the guests give us wedding gifts, but they all got around that request, one way or another. Here is one (appropriate for me at least):
