I've accumulated quite a bit of typewriter ephemera over the years, but I've never seen a Corona portable typewriter special Christmas gift carton come up for offer. Given my passion for Coronas and for Christmas, I'd certainly have grabbed it if one had. Corona started the Christmas promotion in 1922-23 and then brought out a more elaborate carton in 1927, two years after its four-bank was introduced. The Christmas carton offer continued until 1930.
