Prince in Shining Armour: A right regal Royal

The sleek black Fox No 24 was joined in the Australian Typewriter Museum in Canberra this evening by this shiny chromed Royal portable:

Such a gorgeous machine! I searched high and low and was happy to find this close cousin to a Royal of mine soon to be blogged.

Have you seen other examples of chrome plated Royals? There isn't much that turns up in a Google search (as in yours is the only one).

Hi Dwayne. Thank you. No, I haven't seen any others like this. Alan Seaver, of course, has a lovely sterling silver plated Smith-Corona Sterling, and I have seen other silver-plated machines.
